Martín began his career as an Associate Lawyer at Aylwin Abogados, and later worked as a lawyer in the Legal Division of the Ministry of the Environment. He later served as lawyer, senior lawyer and surrogate corporate manager of Falabella S.A, and as deputy compliance manager at Banco Falabella. Since 2023 he has been a partner lawyer at Aylwin Matta.
Martín has a Bachelor of Legal Sciences from the Faculty of Law of the Alberto Hurtado University and a Master of Law from the University of Melbourne, Australia. He has postgraduate degrees in Free Competition, Environmental Management Instruments, Corporate Compliance and Protection of Personal Data. He is a professor of compliance and environmental matters at the University of Chile, Pontificia Universidad Católica, Adolfo Ibáñez, Universidad del Desarrollo, Universidad Alberto Hurtado and San Sebastián.
