Aylwin y Matta is a studio with proven experience in the most diverse fields. Our lawyers have successfully litigated large and complex cases in Ordinary Courts of Justice and before specialized courts and bodies such as the Procurement Court, the Panel of Electrical Experts, the Public Works Concessions Panel and the Constitutional Court; They have participated in domestic and international arbitrations in Chile and abroad; as well as in legislative discussions in the National Congress. On the other hand, they have advised on the development of administrative procedures before the Comptroller General of the Republic; they have participated in dialogues and mediations with indigenous and local communities; and they have experience in commercial and corporate matters, as well as negotiating complex contracts such as EPC and EPCM.

HISTORY
Aylwin Matta is a firm, which was originally founded as Aylwin Abogados in 1974 by Mr. Patricio Aylwin Azocar and his brothers, recognized in the legal field for its experience in Arbitration and Public Law. In 1977, a new generation joined the firm, led by Miguel Aylwin Oyarzún and Manuel Matta Aragay.
In 2005, a new group of lawyers entered, represented by Manuel Matta, Paulina Toro and Miguel Aylwin Fernández, who
contribute with innovative visions and new specialties, such as the area of Natural Resources, Energy and Environment.
In 2014 Aylwin Abogados came to an end, and Aylwin y Cia was born, founded by Miguel Aylwin Oyarzún, Manuel Matta Aylwin and Paulina Toro. Given the growth of the firm, in 2023 the firm was restructured under the name of Aylwin Matta. This renewal, which continues its origin, currently highlights its focus on the area of regulated markets, natural resources and energy, a sphere that has acquired substantial importance in the office.
