FRANCISCO TAPIA FERRER

Francisco is a specialist in environmental matters and has worked as a lawyer in both the public and private sectors. In the public sector, he worked as a legal advisor at the Ministry of Finance and later at the Environmental Court of Valdivia. In the private sector, he worked at the Rivadeneira, Colombara & Zegers firm, was an environmental counsel at FX
Legal, and practiced independently.

He has advised national and foreign companies by preparing legal reports, representing them in environmental litigation and controversies with the State Administration, as well as supporting the environmental assessment of projects. In addition, he is the Deputy Manager of Regulatory Affairs of the Mining Council (Consejo Minero A.G.) and has provided consulting services for the United Nations Environment Programme.
