MIGUEL PATRICIO AYLWIN OYARZÚN

Miguel Patricio has focused his professional practice of nearly 50 years on private, commercial, corporate, and public procurement law, as well as civil and commercial litigation and administrative contentious matters. He specializes in arbitration, partitions, and conflict resolution through negotiation or extrajudicial proceedings, advising infrastructure, energy, and mining projects and companies on contractual and environmental issues, obtaining sector-specific permits, and highly complex litigation. He was a partner at Aylwin Abogados between 1979 and 2014. He completed an internship as a foreign lawyer at the law firm Arent Fox in Washington D.C. and at the IDB in 1993. He is a founding partner and a member of the Litigation Area at Aylwin Matta since 2015 to date. He has been part of the roster of arbitrators of the Arbitration and Mediation Center of the Santiago Chamber of Commerce since 2016.
